Hours of work: 40 hours per week

Location: SPCA Whangaparaoa Op Shop

About the role

As an Op Shop Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the Op Shop and leadership of our amazing team of volunteers, ensuring the shop is highly profitable and generating funds to support the SPCA. '

Duties of the role would include:

· Driving sales through excellent customer service

· Online sales 

· Coordinating donation pick ups 

· Furniture deliveries

· General administration and reporting

The position will be busy, challenging, rewarding and fun; and you will go home every day with the knowledge that the work you do contributes to an amazing cause!

What we need from you

· Experience in retail management and interest/knowledge in second-hand goods

· Ability to recruit, lead and motivate volunteers

· Excellent attention to detail and the ability to merchandise and present a retail shop to maximize revenue

· Highly motivated with a "can-do" attitude

· Great relationship building skills and excellent customer service standards

· Passion for online selling and services, to create a seamless customer journey

· High EQ, empathy and resilience

· Good technical competency, including MS Office Products and POS systems
