About the role

To support our Waikato Op Shops as an on call Casual Manager. Supporting our Dinsdale, Hamilton East, Frankton, and Te Awamutu Op Shops. The role will be based in one of our Hamilton based stores, with the flexibility to travel to other locations as required.

The position will require strong leadership with a key focus on driving revenue through excellent customer service. The role will be busy, challenging and rewarding. 

You will be responsible for the management of the shop and the volunteer team. This includes a high standard of customer service, online sales, general administration and reporting. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a positive attitude. You will have good attention to detail and the ability to merchandise and present a retail shop in a way that draws customers through the door.

About the Role:

 · Retail management experience, second hand retail would be an advantage, however not essential

· Passionate about online selling and sales to create a seamless customer journey

· Have excellent communication and customer service skills, be solutions focused with friendly and a positive can-do attitude.

· Have proven ability to recruit, train and manage a high performing team.

· Excellent organizational skills and be able to prioritize and effectively manage workloads

· Be a self-motivated team player, who is enthusiastic and passionate about animal welfare.

· Demonstrate empathy and resilience

· Strong administration, computer skills and merchandising experience.
